Drug & Alcohol Safety Education Program (DASEP)
The Guidance Center works in conjunction with the DASEP program to conduct saety education for individual who have been convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Minor in Possession (MIP) from the State of Arkansas Court System.
DASEP staff conduct pre-sentencing screenings in all six county courts and refer clients to the closest clinic for state-approved classes. The classes are court ordered and must be completed for Arkansas license to be reinstated.
DASEP regularly offers Level I and Level II classes in both English and Spanish. The classes are scheduled at various times and locations in Fort Smith, Van Buren, Booneville, Ozark, Paris, Waldron and Mena. Click here for clinic addresses and phone numbers.
How Sign-Up for Classes
The dates and times for classes will be given to each person who is required to take the DASEP classes. The cost is $150 and must be received before the first class begins.
